DIY Mask

1. Who needs these? If you don't know a health care organization in need, these places have individually contacted me. Please let me know if you are a part of a group that needs masks.

2. What fabric do I use? Two layers of cotton work best. Whatever you got. Two layers of t-shirt will work.
3. How do I do it? Some places have specific designs they want, some prefer ties to elastic. Talk to the place that you are donating. There are about 9 billion different ways to make these. And lots of really good tutorials. I’ve been making most of mine with an open edge to insert a filter.

4. How can I help if I don't sew?? Donate money for supplies and shipping, volunteer to do a job
  • cut out fabric for me


  • iron fabric for ties

  • trim and package for shipping
  • Donate for shipping and supplies
  • Purchase supplies and ship to me (cotton fabric, 1/8 in elastic or 2 mm elastic cord)
